A clear agreement for a family workspace.

Eligibility and parent-managed accounts

The family owner must be at least 18 years old and authorized to manage the household’s learning information. The owner is responsible for child profiles, child sign-in access, account accuracy, and activity performed through the family workspace.

Subscriptions and renewal

Public subscriptions are not open yet. Planned launch pricing is $8.99 per month or $84.99 per year for one family workspace. There is no free trial; a free downloadable product demo is available before purchase. When paid signups open, Stripe Checkout will display the selected price, applicable taxes, and renewal details before payment. Plans will be billed in advance and renew automatically until canceled.

The family owner may cancel through the Stripe billing portal at any time. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues through that period. Deleting the family account instead cancels billing and removes the workspace immediately.

Refunds

The public refund policy will be added before day in Hand accepts customer payments.

Taxes

Prices do not include taxes unless the checkout page says otherwise. Stripe may calculate and collect sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes in jurisdictions where the operator is registered or legally required to collect them.

Acceptable use

Do not use day in Hand to break the law, harm others, probe or bypass security, interfere with the service, impersonate another person, or upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to use. The operator may restrict access needed to protect families, the service, or legal rights.

Your content

Families retain their rights in content they upload. You authorize day in Hand and its service providers to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. You may export or delete family information using the account controls.

Service availability

day in Hand may change, suspend, or discontinue features and cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated here. Applicable consumer rights are not waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, day in Hand is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of day in Hand. The operator’s total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount the family paid for day in Hand during the twelve months before the claim. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Changes and termination

These terms or the service may change as day in Hand develops. Material changes will be presented to the family owner before they take effect when required. The operator may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, unlawful activity, security threats, or material violations of these terms. Families may export their data and close their account using the account controls.

Governing law

Alabama law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Any permitted court proceeding will take place in state or federal courts serving Baldwin County, Alabama.
